EORLA Medical Laboratory Technologist

In this role, you will manage sample reception, accessioning, and perform diagnostic tests. EORLA seeks candidates registered with CMLTO in cytogenetics or molecular genetics, leveraging their skills in analysis and interpretation. You will help train new staff while ensuring the quality of all specimens and maintained records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the reception and preparation of clinical samples

• Conduct analysis and report diagnostic test results

• Train new team members in laboratory procedures

• Identify and resolve issues with unsatisfactory specimens

• Maintain accurate documentation for each test undertaken

Requirements:

• Accreditation from a recognized MLT program

• Active CMLTO registration required

• Strong understanding of lab regulations and standards

• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

• Commitment to occupational health and safety regulations
