Cogir Senior Living Activity Aide Position

Transform seniors' lives as an Active Living Aide at Cogir Senior Living. This role allows you to implement innovative programs that foster joy and community among residents.

Reporting to the Active Living Manager, you will assist with planning and executing engaging activities tailored to seniors' interests. You will communicate with families and work collaboratively with staff to ensure residents are informed of all events. A kind-hearted and energetic personality is critical for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing engaging programs for residents

• Keep accurate records of program participation and assessments

• Facilitate meetings for planning resident activities

• Support meal services and transport residents when needed

• Promote the organization's values of integrity and compassion

Requirements:

• College diploma in recommended fields like Gerontology

• Experience with seniors is essential

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication skills necessary

• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
