As a Registered Dietitian, you will assess and document nutritional needs for residents, ensuring compliance with standards. You will develop tailored nutrition plans and monitor at-risk residents while providing educational support for families. Collaborating with various interdisciplinary teams signifies your critical role in enhancing the residents’ holistic care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments at admission and annually
• Create and modify personalized nutrition care plans
• Document nutritional care and interventions clearly
• Provide dietary education to residents and caregivers
• Participate actively in team meetings and committees
Requirements:
• Degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited institution
• 1-2 years of applicable gerontology experience preferred
• Current registration with the regulatory Dietitians College
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Proficient in necessary IT systems for record-keeping
