Role Description

This full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role is based at Apollo Physical Therapy's clinic in Ottawa, ON. The Physiotherapist will assess patients' physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to address pain, mobility limitations, and functional impairments. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, documenting findings and progress, educating patients on exercises and self-management strategies, and monitoring outcomes to adjust treatment plans.

The role involves close collaboration with other clinicians, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring a safe, professional environment. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to patient scheduling efficiency, participate in case discussions, and support continuous improvement in clinical practices.

Qualifications
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physiotherapist in Ontario, with a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-informed physiotherapy interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and motivate patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to manage a steady caseload in an on-site clinical setting.
  • Solid documentation and organizational skills, including accurate charting and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Experience in musculoskeletal, sports, or orthopedic rehabilitation is an asset; familiarity with alternative or complementary therapies is beneficial.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in physiotherapy.
