Position: Dietitian Role in Home Health Care

At Extendicare, you will evaluate patients' nutritional needs and design menus that promote overall wellness. This full-time position focuses on thorough documentation and compliance with the standards set by the College of Dieticians. Help transform the lives of individuals receiving home care by ensuring they receive the nutritional support they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ dietary requirements and develop personalized plans

• Implement and evaluate therapeutic nutrition menus

• Keep accurate records in line with regulatory guidelines

• Support treatment and prevention of nutritional deficiencies

• Ensure compliance with health legislation affecting dietetic practices

Requirements:

• Licensing with the provincial regulatory college

• Pediatric nutrition experience preferred

• Understanding of health regulations in dietetics

• Recent First Aid and CPR certification

• Clear Vulnerable Position Screening (VPS)
