Our agency is looking for empathetic Personal Support Workers to support youth in Ottawa and Russell Prescott. The position includes helping those with a range of behavioral issues, requiring both patience and expertise. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience working with aggressive behaviors for optimal client care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous support for individual behavior needs

• Develop and follow therapeutic plans for youth

• Facilitate life skills training and socialization

• Aid clients with personal hygiene and daily living tasks

• Be available for emergency coverage shifts

Requirements:

• PSW certification or an equivalent recognized qualification

• Current First Aid and CPR certification mandatory

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Background Check required

• Experience in Crisis Intervention techniques necessary

• Bilingual in English and French is essential
