Cogir Senior Living is looking for dedicated Personal Support Workers who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for residents in our retirement residences. This role involves delivering personalized support, from personal hygiene to companionship, ensuring residents’ needs are met with empathy. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, documenting care and communicating effectively with clinical leads to ensure high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
• Document care tasks on an electronic health record system
• Communicate changes in resident needs to clinical leads
• Support nutritional needs and meal preparation
Requirements:
• Certification as a Personal Support Worker or international nursing education
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
• Vulnerable Sector Check within six months
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on resident care
