This role combines clinical social work expertise with military dynamics, addressing complex cases such as deployment stress and suicide prevention. As a Social Work Officer, you will also provide guidance to leadership and collaborate with civilian agencies to ensure comprehensive mental health support.
Your role will have a profound impact on the well-being of service members and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical intervention services to CAF members
• Advise leaders on social work-related issues
• Conduct investigations into compassionate situations
• Design and implement preventive mental health programs
• Collaborate with community organizations for support
Requirements:
• Accredited Master's degree in Social Work
• Current, unrevoked social work license
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience
• Commitment to military training and standards
• Ability to work both domestically and internationally
