Position: Intervenor for Deafblind Community at Sensity
Support the deafblind community with Sensity as a Full Time Intervenor in Ottawa, ON. This role enhances individuals’ communication and daily living skills, promoting independence.

Sensity is a leader in providing Intervenor Services and is looking for a dedicated Intervenor. This full-time position involves flexible shifts, focusing on empowering clients with dual sensory impairments. You will implement various daily support methods and communication techniques to enrich their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals in personal care and life skills

• Utilize communication strategies for effective interactions

• Promote success in daily activities and volunteerism

• Ensure comprehensive care through documentation

• Support program development and individual goal setting

Requirements:

• Completion of a college diploma related to human services

• Experience with challenging behaviors and developmental disabilities

• Proficiency in communication via ASL or SEE

• Clean driver's abstract and valid Class G license required

• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
