CHEO Research Institute is hiring two Occupational Therapists for casual positions. You will facilitate hybrid assessments for a virtual assessment study and a Randomized Control Trial. Your responsibilities include collaborating with families and conducting assessments both virtually and in-person at CHEO.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement personalized goals for child participants
• Schedule and perform clinical assessments remotely
• Administer various upper extremity functional assessments
• Support families in understanding evaluation results
• Participate in post-assessment data management
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• In good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Familiarity with assessments for children with hemiplegia
• Strong communication skills with clients and caregivers
