Reporting to the Inclusion Coordinator, the Behavior Specialist provides essential behavioral support. The role involves collaborating with the Program Leader to adapt programming and mentor staff in implementing behavior strategies. You’ll also monitor participant progress and engage families throughout the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide behavioral strategies and interventions during sessions
• Develop diverse weekly lessons and curriculums
• Mentor staff to maintain behavior support consistency
• Monitor progress and recommend improvements for participants
• Act as the main family contact on-site
Requirements:
• Certification in behavior analysis or related fields
• Strong understanding of autism and behavior management
• Experience with children in therapeutic or recreational settings
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
• Access to a vehicle and availability on weekends
