Join The Ottawa Hospital as an Acute Care Physiotherapist in a temporary role until March 2027. Provide patient-centered rehabilitation across various in-patient units, focusing on surgical care and recovery.

This temporary Physiotherapist position supports acute in-patient units, especially Surgery, with day and evening shifts including weekends. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Physiotherapy and registration from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. You'll be expected to write, communicate effectively, and demonstrate sound judgement throughout your practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients in acute care settings daily

• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans

• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient care

• Provide education and support to patients and families

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatments

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent

• Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

• Recent acute care experience preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is advantageous
