As part of Carefor, a leading home care provider in Eastern Ontario, you'll assist individuals following their personalized care plans. This temporary, part-time role involves providing personal care, light housekeeping, and medication assistance in a compassionate setting.
You'll work with in a unionized environment, adhering to health care standards while ensuring optimal independence for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal care and home support services
• Observe and report changes in client health status
• Chart care and communicate with the care team
• Plan daily activities and prioritize tasks
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certificates
• 1 year experience with vulnerable populations
• Experience in retirement or nursing home settings
• Secondary school education preferred
