Elevate pediatric care as a Research Occupational Therapist with CHEO in Ottawa. Contribute to vital studies shaping occupational therapy practices for children.
CHEO Research Institute is seeking two motivated Occupational Therapists for casual positions focused on hybrid assessments. You will work on significant studies evaluating treatment methods for children with upper extremity challenges and will be required to engage in both virtual and in-person assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with families in goal-setting based on study protocols
• Conduct assessments using Microsoft Teams and in-clinic
• Facilitate multiple evaluations of upper extremity function
• Gather and analyze data pertaining to participant progress
• Follow up on assessment outcomes and provide feedback
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
• 2+ years’ experience in Pediatrics or similar settings
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Proficiency in using assessment tools relevant to child development
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
