Position: CHEO Medical Device Reprocessing Role
Join CHEO as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician and contribute to pediatric health in Ottawa, Ontario. You will be integral in the sterilization and preparation of essential medical equipment.

In this vital role, you will provide high-quality reprocessing services, ensuring the availability and safety of surgical instruments and supplies. Working within CHEO’s innovative environment, you will operate sterilization equipment and participate in maintaining quality standards across departments. Flexibility in work hours is required for proper coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and prepare medical and surgical supplies

• Perform decontamination of surgical instruments

• Manage the assembly of surgical procedure carts

• Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment

• Order and replenish supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Medical device reprocessing certification from a recognized college

• Completion of Secondary School Diploma

• At least 2 years of relevant departmental experience preferred

• Basic computer skills considered an asset

• Essential Level 1 Criminal Record Check
