Your role will revolve around the crucial tasks of sterilizing and preparing medical equipment for pediatric care.
This position demands meticulous attention to various processes, including decontamination and assembly of essential medical supplies. Working with a range of sterilization equipment, you will ensure that surgical instruments are ready for use in a timely manner. You will also contribute to maintaining high standards of quality assurance within the Medical Device Reprocessing Department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct decontamination and assembly of surgical supplies
• Operate equipment specific to medical device reprocessing
• Maintain compliance with quality assurance activities
• Participate in the orientation of new staff members
• Assist in ordering and delivering specific supplies
Requirements:
• Certificate from a recognized reprocessing program
• Essential secondary school diploma
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Criminal Record Check (Level
1) required
• Computer skills and bilingualism preferred
