Job Description Personal Support Worker (PSW)

This position is for our 242-bed Long-Term Care Home,
Laurier Manor
, located in Ottawa, Ontario on 1715 Montreal Rd.

Available opportunities include: 5 Permanent Part-Time positions (Guaranteed 30 hours bi-weekly);
Evening shifts.

Shifts defined:
Evening shift (14:30-22:30).

• Assist residents with mobility, feeding, bathing, toileting and personal grooming
• Encourage resident participation in activities and programs
• Provide emotional and social support to residents and families

• PSW certification
• Able to perform physical tasks and duties, including frequent bending, reaching and lifting
• Compassion, professionalism, and respect
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
