Join a dedicated team as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and help shape brighter futures for children with disabilities. This position involves client-focused interventions within a Children's Treatment Centre environment.
In this dynamic role, you'll assess and implement therapeutic strategies for preschool-aged children facing developmental challenges. Collaborate with families and an inter-professional team to develop personalized care plans. You'll engage in community involvement while ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and implement therapy for children's disabilities
• Prescribe and fit necessary mobility devices
• Educate families about care practices and interventions
• Participate in quality improvement projects
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and students
Requirements:
• Vulnerable Sector Check is essential
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario
• Minimum two years experience with children
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility in working hours required
