As a Hospital Phlebotomist I, your responsibilities will include performing venipuncture, managing specimen labeling, and adhering to safety protocols. You’ll also support leadership with workflow coordination and troubleshooting. Enjoy a balanced schedule with weekends rotated every four weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform timely venipuncture and microtainer collections
• Ensure accurate specimen labeling and organization
• Transport hazardous waste according to safety standards
• Assist management in daily problem resolution
• Train and guide less experienced staff in best practices
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Training in phlebotomy is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic Life Support certification preferred
• Willing to work flexible schedules
