Position: Support Worker Needed at Southbridge Care Homes
Work as a Personal Support Worker at Marochel Manor in Ottawa, ON, providing compassionate care and assistance to residents. This casual position focuses on holistic resident support.

The Person al Support Worker role centers on fulfilling the diverse needs of residents, covering their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will support critical daily activities, work closely with residents and their families, and ensure adherence to care protocols. Experience in nursing care planning is an asset while you provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and feeding

• Encourage involvement in social activity programs

• Deliver meals and assist with nutritional support

• Provide social and emotional support, including palliative care

• Follow care documentation practices and quality assurance

Requirements:

• Completed PSW training of at least 600 hours

• Previous long-term care experience is advantageous

• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy

• Team player with organizational skills

• Negative sector check and recent TB testing required
