Become a Clinical Neuropsychologist at CHEO, where you will conduct assessments and provide interventions for pediatric patients. Work closely with healthcare teams to improve developmental outcomes.
In this pivotal role at CHEO, you will carry out neuropsychological assessments for both outpatients and inpatients, delivering diagnostic insights and interventions. Collaborating across inter-professional teams, you will influence patient management strategies and contribute significantly to the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Diagnostic Clinic. Additionally, you will supervise psychometrists and provide training to psychology interns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform neuropsychological assessments and diagnostic interventions
• Consult with interdisciplinary teams on assessment results
• Offer short-term counseling to children and youth
• Mentor and supervise interns and psychometrists
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives across departments
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology from accredited programs
• Must be registered or eligible for College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Demonstrated experience in pediatric neuropsychology
• Familiar with assessment of complex pediatric conditions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are vital
