In this role, you will enhance patient outcomes through comprehensive testing and collaboration with medical professionals. A Canadian Society of Cardiology Technicians (CSCT) approved course in electrocardiography and active registration are essential. Key skills include knowledge of cardio equipment, strong communication, and independence in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnostic testing for cardiac disorders
• Operate and troubleshoot various cardio equipment
• Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Provide training on new technology to staff
• Collaborate with clinical teams on technical issues
Requirements:
• CSCT electrocardiography certification required
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Strong English communication skills
• Proven ability to multi-task in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and hospital systems
