Provide empathetic care as a part time Personal Support Worker at a community care facility. Utilize your experience and skills to assist elderly residents in their daily activities and needs.
Ideal for candidates with a Community College Health Care Attendant Certificate, this role requires two years of experience, ideally in a geriatric setting. You will need excellent communication skills and a keen interest in working with seniors. Your adaptability to various situations will enhance the care you provide among diverse resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and receive reports at shift changes
• Assist residents with personal hygiene and dressing
• Order and manage supplies for residents' needs
• Serve meal trays and assist with dining
• Report changes in residents' health to the RPN
Requirements:
• Community College Health Care Attendant Certificate
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Two years of experience in care, preferably geriatric
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work within a team
Support elderly residents through compassionate care and effective teamwork as a Personal Support Worker.
