Accreditation Canada is seeking experienced physicians and technologists to serve as assessors for the Integrated Community Health Services Centres (ICHSC) Quality Assurance Program. As an ICHSC diagnostics assessor, you will conduct assessments of community-based diagnostic centres, helping to ensure that licensed services meet rigorous quality and safety standards.

The ICHSC Quality Assurance Program is a mandatory, inspection-based accreditation program in the Province of Ontario that enhances patient safety by assessing the facility-level policy and operations supporting the delivery of licensed services at a diagnostic, surgical and/or medical centre. Licensed services include:
- Pulmonary Function Tests
- Sleep Medicine
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Computed Tomography
- Nuclear Medicine
- Positron Emission Tomography
- Bone Densitometry
- General Radiography
- Mammography
- Ultrasound (including ophthalmic)
- Drive system-wide impact. Use your clinical expertise to shape safer, high-quality diagnostic services across community centres.
- Flexible engagement. Participate in a minimum of two inspections per year, scheduled around your availability.
- Professional development. Receive comprehensive initial training, ongoing learning opportunities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

We invite applications from Canadian health care professionals (preference given to Ontario residents) who meet the following criteria:
- Current Clinical Engagement: Actively or recently involved in delivering any of the licensed services above within an acute care hospital or community diagnostic setting.
- Valid Professional License or Certification: Technologist or physician in good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory college. For unregulated professions, certification through an appropriate certification body is required.

Experience:- As a physician:
Experience in ≥1 of these specialties:
Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Ophthalmology, Respirology. - As a technologist: ≥2 years’ experience working in one or more of the diagnostic modalities listed above.
- As a physician:
- Communication & Analytical
Skills:- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to review centre policies, technical protocols, and patient results; analyse information; and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Interpersonal & Technological
Skills:- Outstanding interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and adaptability when faced with evolving inspection dynamics.
- Proficiency with computers, tablets and web-based software for report preparation, image or case review, and data collection.
