Support prescription services at Loblaw by combining accurate data entry with attentive patient and customer communication. Flexible hours may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will confirm prescription information, enter patient care details, and dispense medications accurately. You will also support third party adjudication, pharmacy inventory, over the counter enquiries, and prescription pickup. Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet patients and confirm pertinent prescription information
- Enter patient care information accurately
- Complete third party adjudication when necessary
- Dispense prescription medications accurately
- Handle customer prescription pickup and enquiries
- Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset
- Excellent organizational and detail orientation skills
- Strong communication skills with patients and customers
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
