The Ottawa Hospital Foundation is seeking a strategic and collaborative Director, Human Resources to lead our people strategy during a defining moment in our organization’s history. Our 70+ person team is delivering the largest fundraising campaign our city has ever seen—$500 million in support of The Ottawa Hospital’s Campaign to Create Tomorrow.
Reporting to the Vice-President, Finance and Administration, the Director, Human Resources will oversee all aspects of human resources and organizational effectiveness, ensuring our people, culture, and systems are aligned to deliver extraordinary impact—today and for years to come.

POSITION SNAPSHOTPosition Type:
Full‑time Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
Number of Vacancies: 1 (newly created role)
Number of Direct Reports: 1 (HR Officer)
Annual Salary:
The salary range for this position is $107.8k-$157.1k with a current hiring range of $107.8K to $131.8K
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic/leadership role.
Pension and Medical Benefits:
Includes medical benefits (semi‑private hospital, extended health care, vision care, dental care); life insurance; employee and family assistance program; defined benefits pension, and more.
Vacation: 4 weeks per annum
Location:
Hybrid, with onsite work conducted out of our Civic Campus office (737 Parkdale Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario)
Languages:
English essential. French an asset
