Take charge as the Senior Human Rights Lead at the University of Ottawa, advocating for sexual violence prevention and supporting survivors in a diverse learning community.
You will advise on legal obligations while leading strategic initiatives that promote safety and inclusion. This vital position requires extensive knowledge of harassment laws and experience in conducting confidential investigations. You will play a critical role in policy development and implementation of educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on adherence to human rights guidelines
• Manage the implementation of prevention strategies
• Oversee investigation processes and documentation
• Develop training and educational materials for outreach
• Monitor resources related to prevention programs
Requirements:
• Law degree or relevant post-secondary education
• At least 10 years of experience in managing harassment cases
• In-depth knowledge of workplace anti-discrimination laws
• Proven competency in sexual violence investigations
• Fluent in both English and French
