Labour Relations Specialist

Position: Employee and Labour Relations Specialist
Shape organizational culture as an Employee and Labour Relations Specialist with Commissionaires-Ottawa.

Your role will focus on guiding employees and managers through HR policy applications and employment laws.

As an integral member of the ERLR team, you'll ensure consistency and fairness across workplace practices. Responsibilities include advising on HR policies, supporting conflict resolution, and leading sensitive investigations. You'll actively collaborate with union representatives and manage accommodation processes while documenting case details for improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise managers on HR policies and legislation

• Support fair performance management and disciplinary measures

• Lead investigations into sensitive workplace issues

• Document grievances and prepare arbitration files

• Coordinate with HR agencies regarding inquiries

Requirements:

• Bilingualism (French/English) preferred

• At least 3 years of progressive HR experience

• Thorough knowledge of employment and labour legislation

• Experience in policy interpretation and case management

• Secret Security Clearance or eligibility required
