Build Hypersonica Canada’s technical team through talent mapping, headhunting, and end-to-end recruitment with engineering leadership.
As Senior Technical Recruiter, you will shape the Canadian hiring strategy with the Managing Director and Head of Talent. You will translate business, customer, and programme priorities into capability-based hiring plans. The role focuses on defence, aerospace, space, propulsion, autonomy, advanced manufacturing, and deep-tech engineering talent.
Key Responsibilities:- Build Hypersonica Canada’s hiring strategy
- Own Canadian recruitment from role design through signed offers
- Map talent across defence, aerospace, and deep-tech engineering
- Identify exceptional passive candidates
- Create high-signal interviews and scorecards
- Experienced technical recruiter with difficult-talent results
- Defence, aerospace, or space experience ideally
- Comfort recruiting senior engineers and technical leaders
- Strong market-mapping and headhunting capability
- Comfort handling sensitive programmes and confidential information
