Technology Architect (Cloud)
Duration: 2 Years + 3 Optional Periods
Location: Remote
Security Clearance: Secret Altis Technology is seeking a Cloud Technology Architect for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud infrastructure and migration strategies (AWS/Azure)

Lead technical planning for cloud modernization projects

Evaluate and recommend scalable and secure cloud architecture solutions

Align with enterprise architecture and GC cloud strategies

Develop architecture documentation, roadmaps, and security practices

Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer

Must-Have:

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Cloud Architect (AWS and/or Azure)

Active Secret Clearance (Government of Canada)

Highly Valued Experience (Rated):

7+ years in cloud infrastructure design, security by design, IaC (e.g. Terraform, Bicep), enterprise architecture alignment, tenant architecture, and proof-of-concept implementations

Familiarity with Government of Canada’s cloud (SC2G, GC Strategies, ASEA/LZA)

Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
