Position: Senior Programmer / Analyst
Adecco is currently seeking a Senior Programmer / Analyst (Power Platform & Azure) for a 2-year contract opportunity supporting a federal government bid in Ottawa (on-site). In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver enterprise-scale digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Azure, and data analytics tools to support digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder collaboration skills, and experience delivering secure, scalable solutions in complex environments.

• Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year
• Location: Ottawa, ON
• Job type: Full-time | Temporary (Contract 2 years)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Deliver optimized SharePoint Online pages that enhance user experience, content discoverability, and collaboration
• Develop customized Power Apps solutions to automate workflows, improve data accuracy, and digitize business processes
• Create interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that transform data into actionable insights
• Gather and document technical requirements by collaborating with end users, business owners, and stakeholders
• Establish and maintain a structured, secure, and scalable development environment aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Integrate Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Fabric for real-time data exchange and centralized reporting
• Develop user forms, manuals, training materials, and procedural guides to support adoption and best practices
• Provide responsive Level 2 support by triaging and resolving user-submitted tickets related to bugs, performance, and technical issues

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Data Science / Analytics
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Programmer/Analyst within the last 10 years
• Minimum 6 years of applied Microsoft Azure experience within the last 10 years
• Experience on two enterprise-level digital transformation projects within the last 10 years
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating enterprise applications, tools, and APIs
• Strong expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, and Azure services
• Hands-on experience with Power Fx, DAX, SQL, and data modeling
• Experience working in Agile or Dev Ops delivery environments
• Minimum 6 months of experience overseeing delivery, facilitating knowledge transfer, onboarding resources, or sustainment planning

Certifications (required within the last 3 years):

• Microsoft Power BI (PL-300 or DA-100 or higher)
• Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400 or higher)
• Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200 or higher)
• One or more of the following: CISSP, PMP, AIIM SharePoint Specialist, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CompTIA Cloud+, DP-900

Additional assets:

• Expertise in technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/XML, SQL Server, C#/.NET, Python, React, Power Shell, Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Graph API
• Experience with cloud framework development and enterprise Azure migrations
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Microsoft Fabric
