Position: Sr. (Bilingual) Help Desk Specialists to provide on-site support or Montreal) of applications, desktops, and IT
Our valued public sector client is looking for Sr. (Bilingual)
Help Desk Specialist to provide on-site support (Ottawa or Montreal) of applications, desktops, and IT hardware for a Windows upgrade project.
Hourly rate range: $29.39/hr – $39.03/hr
This Windows 7-10 upgrade project requires on-site work, and opportunities exist in both Ottawa and Montreal. Once the project is complete, the opportunity exists for successful candidates to continue working on future projects.
Tasks include:
Work directly with end-users to receive devices and determine what level of support is required for upgrades from Windows 7 to Windows 10In some cases, perform the required Windows 10 upgrades on existing devicesIn some cases, perform data backups and set up users with new machinesPerform a variety of network problem analysis and monitoring tasks, such asMonitoring network management systemsResponding appropriately to user requests and problemsDevelop, implement, and participate in the distribution of related information to users, such asHelp desk proceduresHandbooks and training materialMust have:
Prior experience using an incident resolution system to track and resolve problemsBilingualism (English/French)Nice to have:
Experience with any of the following technologies:Active Directory Services (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Win and Domain Name System (DNS));Virtual Private Network (VPN);VMWare;Windows 10Assyst Enterprise IT Service Management SystemsMS Office 13 Suite with OutlookVirtual Private Network (VPN)LAN and WAN environmentMcAfee Endpoint SolutionBeyond Trust Remote Assistance
