Our valued client is seeking a Senior Application Architect (10+ years) to design and oversee Azure-based application solutions, including front-end, back-end, APIs, and hybrid/cloud-native architectures
.
The role involves architecting scalable front-end and back-end solutions, designing secure APIs, and supporting hybrid and cloud-native deployments. The Architect will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and technical stakeholders in a small, agile team environment with shifting priorities. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) work with evolving requirements, and leadership in defining architectural standards and modernization strategies.
The successful candidate will contribute to IT modernization initiatives, including legacy system transformation, cloud-native architecture design, and deployment strategies that ensure scalability, security, and cost optimization across Azure platform services.
Must Haves:
Experience designing applications in Microsoft AzureExperience with React or Next.js (UI architecture)Experience designing APIs using .NET CoreExperience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, containers, serverless, PaaS)Experience designing SSO and MFA solutions (Azure Entra / AD B2C/B2B)Experience with legacy modernization and hybrid cloud architecturesTasks:
Lead architecture design for Azure-hosted applicationsDevelop reference architectures and technical standardsDefine cloud cost management strategiesArchitect UI (React/Next.js) and API (.NET Core) solutionsAssess and modernize legacy systems (including Oracle-APEX)Develop scalable deployment strategies with load balancingDesign authentication frameworks (SSO, MFA)Develop Azure-based proof-of-concept solutionsLead code refactoring and re-architecture initiatives
