- Define system requirements, select components, and contribute to schematic and board-level design decisions
- Develop, verify, and debug FPGA-based solutions, including UHD-SDI, high-speed transceivers, DDR interfaces, and related high-bandwidth data paths
- Support the full product development lifecycle, including design documentation, QA, integration, and customer-facing technical support
- Collaborate with firmware, software, and systems teams to deliver optimized, real-time, production-ready solutions
- Must be based in Ontario, Canada and able to work on-site in Ottawa as required
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in FPGA/RTL and hardware design engineering, including at least 5 years of related work and/or post-secondary education experience in Canada

- Hands-on experience with modern FPGA platforms and tool chains such as Xilinx and/or Intel (Altera)
- Solid circuit design experience, including power and signal integrity and/or microprocessor-based board design
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) in video, audio, or image processing applications
- Experience in high-volume data processing, compression, and parallel processing for 4K or other high-resolution video systems
- Experience with SoC integration, clock domain analysis, and timing closure for FPGA designs
- Experience with C/C++ or Java, scripting languages, and/or broadcast video workflows
- Proficiency using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and waveform monitors for hardware and FPGA debugging
