Digital Marketing Specialist
Ottawa, ON
6 Months - Temp to Perm
Onsite 3 days a week
Pay Rate: $46 per hour
- Demonstrates expert proficiency in creating targeted email campaigns, including audience segmentation, form creation, quality assurance, and execution within Microsoft Dynamics. Ensures campaigns are accurately configured, tested, and delivered to maximize engagement and effectiveness.
- Familiarity with website content management tool (Adobe Experience Manager) to guide the creation and updating of web pages. Ensures all content aligns with branding standards and undergoes thorough quality assurance to maintain a consistent and professional online presence.
- Familiarity with Canada French regulations and translation requirements.
- Familiarity with a variety of analytics, research, and reporting platforms such as Looker Studio for website performance reporting and Demandbase for Account-Based Marketing (company) insights. Leverages data to inform strategy and optimize marketing efforts.
- Identifies moderately complex website changes and enhancements needed to improve user experience and functionality. Effectively communicates these requirements to the appropriate teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
- Completes moderately complex design and content writing tasks as assigned by colleagues to improve and expand the company's digital marketing efforts.
- Uses SEO tools (Semrush and Google Search Console) to evaluate web pages, audit our site, and perform competitive analysis to uncover actionable insights to improve search rankings and enhance the company’s digital presence.
- Engages with cross-functional teams to monitor progress and contribute to special or strategic projects, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.
- Uses project management tool (Wrike) to manage, assign and complete projects, deliverables and tasks. Ensures projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Partners with regional marketing teams and other key stakeholders to ensure consistent application and execution of marketing initiatives across different markets and channels.
- Ideates and brainstorms with various teams to generate innovative ideas aimed at enhancing the user experience and driving marketing success.
- Demonstrates strong self-management skills by effectively organizing tasks and managing timelines to ensure project milestones and deadlines are consistently met. Proactively identifies potential obstacles and resolves issues efficiently to keep projects on track.
- Possesses critical thinking abilities to analyze complex situations and identify practical, innovative solutions. Shows a natural curiosity and eagerness to understand challenges deeply, enabling the discovery of root causes and effective resolutions.
- Exhibits a keen eye for detail by thoroughly reviewing work to ensure accuracy and quality. Capable of self-checking deliverables and conducting quality assurance on others’ work to quickly identify inconsistencies, errors, or gaps.
- Demonstrates comfort and proficiency in navigating various digital platforms and tools. Shows initiative and resourcefulness by independently exploring new technologies and features to understand their functionality.
