Hybrid - 2 days onsite (Ottawa)
We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Service Now Architect to lead the design and integration of Service Now solutions within our organization. This pivotal role involves collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to create robust, scalable solutions that meet both current and long-term needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Service Now platform capabilities and integrations with third-party technologies, exhibit strong leadership in technical consultations, and champion innovation and quality across all projects.
Responsibilities
Provides expertise to support and manage the overall delivery of the scope and activitiesDefines the overall solution architectureSupports design and validation workshops on technical aspects and best practicesEnsures alignment with enterprise security, scalability, and compliance standardsDocuments integration points and technical dependenciesManages offshore developers, provides technical guidance, and resolves blockersValidates deliverables against architectural standardsCollaborates with the functional lead to triage defects across all phases (build, UAT, and post-go-live) for technical requirementsSupports troubleshooting and advises developers on technical issues or defectsConducts technical reviews of configurations and integrationsEnsures adherence to best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainabilitySkills:
5+ years of experience in Service Now configuration and development.3+ years of experience in Service Now architecture and design.Deep, expert-level knowledge of Service Now capabilities, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and platform architecture.Strong, practical experience with JavaScript, APIs, data imports, and web technologies.Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Application Developer (CAD) required, with Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) and Certified Master Architect (CMA) an asset.Proven ability to create detailed technical design documents, architectural diagrams, and documentation.Strong leadership and consulting skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead technical teams.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field
