Lead Network Architect Position at CANARIE

Elevate your skills as a Lead Network Architect with CANARIE, overseeing the operation and support of our production network. This permanent role requires extensive experience in network infrastructure.
In this full-time position, you will guide critical infrastructure decisions and ensure operational excellence within CANARIE’s network. Candidates must possess a minimum of seven years' relevant experience, demonstrating strong leadership and analytical capabilities in technical environments. You will work closely with diverse teams, enhancing service delivery and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall operations of the CANARIE network system

• Produce and update technical documentation

• Lead design discussions for network architecture

• Drive the deployment of innovative network services

• Provide essential on-call network support
Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years in advanced network architecture

• Experience with datacenter and telecom environments

• Familiarity with IPv4/IPv6 and network resilience strategies

• Proficiency in various network operating systems

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
