Contract Duration: 36 months
Job Description- Prepare and deploy Windows 11 laptops using Microsoft Managed Desktop (MMD) standards, including Autopilot enrollment and configuration profiles
- Unbox, assemble, and set up laptops, docks, and peripherals at user workstations or staging areas
- Safely back up and transfer user data, profiles, and settings from legacy devices to new laptops using approved tools and processes
- Record and update asset information in inventory systems, including device assignment, status, and lifecycle tracking
- Provide onsite or remote support during deployment to clients, including user orientation, login assistance, and basic troubleshooting
- Retire legacy devices by performing secure data wipes, updating asset records, and preparing hardware for disposal or redeployment
- Verify devices meet security, patching, and compliance requirements (e.g., encryption, policies, updates) before and after deployment
- Other related activities and deliverables as required
- University degree or college diploma in a technology-related field
- A minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated IT experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in a laptop refresh project using Intune, Service Now, SCCM
- Demonstrated advanced Microsoft knowledge and experience in desktop and Office tool support
- Demonstrated experience deploying and supporting Windows 10/11 laptops in an enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience with device imaging, provisioning, and configuration profiles
- Demonstrated experience performing data migration and device refresh activities
- Demonstrated familiarity with IT asset management systems and lifecycle tracking
- Demonstrated knowledge of endpoint security controls, including encryption (e.g., Bit Locker), patching, and compliance policies
- Demonstrated experience performing hardware setup and troubleshooting (laptops, docks, peripherals)
- Demonstrated strong experience troubleshooting and user support skills during deployment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft on premise and Azure cloud applications
- Demonstrated basic experience in troubleshooting Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale enterprise device deployments (e.g., 500+ devices)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) considered an asset.
