Join CANARIE as a full-time Network Architect to enhance our network infrastructure and support operational excellence. Focus on reliability and advanced technologies.
As part of the Network Engineering team, you will be responsible for guiding architectural decisions and providing ongoing support for CANARIE's network. With a commitment to service and communication, you will collaborate with experts while managing multiple initiatives. Your critical thinking and team-oriented approach will help foster a robust network environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain the CANARIE Network infrastructure
• Develop technical documentation for network requirements
• Drive advanced service deployment and infrastructure decisions
• Collaborate with software developers and security teams
• Provide on-call network support in a rotation schedule
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years in network infrastructure design
• Experience with high availability systems and fault tolerance
• Knowledge of BGP, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6, and network protocols
• Proficiency in various network operating systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
