Hybrid Windows Support Engineer

Empower operational efficiency as a Hybrid Windows Support Engineer for a Financial client in Ottawa. Support, maintain, and upgrade enterprise Windows Server environments every day.

This long-term contract position requires extensive experience in providing operational support for critical enterprise infrastructure on both on-premise and cloud platforms. Your primary role includes Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting incidents, and collaborating across teams to enhance infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and upgrade Windows Server environments (on-premise and cloud)

• Provide Level 2 support for critical infrastructure

• Troubleshoot incidents with application owners and developers

• Manage requests through Service Now ticketing processes

• Develop automation solutions for Infrastructure as Code initiatives

Requirements:

• 3+ years in hybrid enterprise environments

• Strong experience with Windows Server 2016–2022

• Knowledge of Group Policies, SCCM, and server patching

• Hands-on IaC experience with tools like Ansible and Terraform

• Proficiency in Power Shell and Python scripting
