Security Analyst

Position: Security Analyst at Payments
Contribute to Canada's payment systems as an Associate Security Analyst with Payments Canada, supporting security awareness and personnel screening programs. Help create safer payment processes and environments for all Canadians.
This role reports to the Program Manager and emphasizes the Information Security Awareness and Personnel Screening Programs. You'll assist in developing training materials and ensure effective communication of security policies. Your contributions will promote a culture of safety across the organization and the broader payment ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement security awareness and education programs

• Develop and maintain awareness materials and bulletins

• Support personnel security and screening programs

• Coordinate with third-party service providers as needed

• Promote culture of security awareness across teams
Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum one year experience in information security

• Background in developing security policies is preferred

• Ability to obtain Government of Canada Reliability Clearance

• Willingness to work from the Ottawa office
