Position: IT Security Engineer for Government Project
Enhance IT security in a large-scale government ERP initiative as an IT Security Engineer. Your expertise will ensure a risk-based approach to securing cloud platforms and data integrations.
Our Government of Canada client seeks an IT Security Engineer with a strong background in security engineering. You will play a crucial role in applying security standards and managing configurations across ERP platforms. Deep knowledge of protocols and a focus on compliance will be essential to safeguard systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for ERP security across integrations

• Assess and apply necessary security standards and technologies

• Manage security configurations to adhere to policies

• Analyze tools and recommend security solutions

• Conduct security testing and support project oversight
Requirements:

• Extensive experience in IT security engineering

• Knowledge of networking protocols, including HTTP/S and SFTP

• Familiarity with key security protocols like IPSec and SSL

• Understanding of network infrastructure, including routers

• Ability to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation
