This full-time role requires a dedicated individual with a graduate degree in Archival Studies, Library and Information Studies, or a related area. With at least three years of relevant experience, you will ensure the responsible acquisition of electronic records and the effective processing of digital archives. This role merges practical experience with innovative methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and document practices for digital archives
• Plan and review processing of born-digital materials
• Manage use of digital preservation systems and utilities
• Provide reference services for digital collections
• Build professional relationships with digital content donors
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Archival Studies or similar
• 3+ years working with digital archival materials
• Knowledge of digital preservation standards and tools
• Proficiency with command-line interfaces and Linux
• Strong bilingual communication skills in French and English
