Senior Quality Assurance Analyst To Assist Project Management Team Testing Of Project

Overview

Our public sector client requires a Secret Cleared Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to assist the team with testing project initiatives utilizing an Agile SDLC.

The QA Analyst will join the centralized testing group and test applications hosted in order to baseline the interactions prior to production deployment using Regression testing, Functional testing, Integration testing and Automated testing.

• Work with the functional lead, functional SMEs and business stakeholders to validate the business requirements and to assist with the elicitation and management of test requirements.
• Develop, write and update test plans, strategy, procedures and test cases/scripts/scenarios including manual and/or automated scripts.
• Ensure the traceability of all test cases and defects back to business requirements or required functionality.
• Work with team lead(s) to plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Execute test plans and validate outcomes as part of a multifaceted and cross functional team.
• Analyze and document test results and software bugs in JIRA or similar test management tool.
• Provide advice based on testing executions to drive resolution on issues.
• Monitor the tracking of quality assurance metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
• Participate in scrum meetings when required in an Agile workplace.
• Report testing concerns to team lead, scrum master and management as and when required.
• Identify and facilitate the appropriate testing methodology.

• Experience performing Regression testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, and Automated testing.
• Experience utilizing an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Cloud experience.
• Experience utilizing DEV-OPS processes.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain, as required.
