The Cyber Defense Lead AI Systems will lead the development and implementation of secure AI enablement practices across the organization, ensuring artificial intelligence technologies are adopted responsibly, securely, and in alignment with enterprise cyber security objectives.
This role will establish foundational guardrails for AI usage, including data protection, model integrity, AI supply chain security, governance frameworks, and operational oversight.
Working closely with Cyber Security Operations (CSOC), enterprise architecture, risk management, and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will enable AI-aware monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and cyber defense capabilities while supporting strategic AI initiatives across the department.
The role is responsible for centralizing guidance and oversight for AI-related cyber risks, developing security standards, response procedures, and advancing the organization s AI security maturity.
This position requires the ability to translate evolving AI threats, supply chain risks, and security vulnerabilities into practical controls and governance mechanisms that support innovation while reducing exposure to data leakage, model compromise, and unauthorized AI adoption.
ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of secure AI enablement practices aligned with enterprise cyber security objectives.

Collaborate with Cyber Security Operations (CSOC), enterprise architecture, risk management, and business stakeholders to enable AI-aware monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and cyber defense capabilities.
Support strategic AI initiatives across the department while embedding security and risk considerations into AI programs.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate brings a solid blend of cyber security leadership, emerging technology expertise, governance experience, and operational coordination skills.
Strong ability to translate evolving AI threats, supply chain risks, and security vulnerabilities into practical controls and governance mechanisms that balance innovation with risk reduction.
