As Chief Information Security Officer, you will provide strategic oversight of the university’s cybersecurity framework. This role involves developing risk management strategies, enhancing security awareness, and collaborating with stakeholders. Your proactive leadership will address both current and emerging cyber threats effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish comprehensive information security strategies across the institution
• Identify and mitigate potential cybersecurity risks proactively
• Collaborate with senior leaders and external partners for security initiatives
• Monitor the threat landscape for evolving cybersecurity challenges
• Ensure security is integral to all institutional projects and initiatives
Requirements:
• 10+ years of IT security leadership experience required
• Degree in a related IT discipline necessary
• Possession of CISSP, CISM certifications advantageous
• Familiar with compliance standards like SOX and HIPAA
• Bilingual in French and English for effective communication
