Position: IT Security Engineer for Cloud Applications
Elevate cloud security at High Tech Genesis as an Information Technology Security Engineer. Focus on CI/CD automation, secure coding, and Government of Canada compliance while leading security efforts.
This full-time role is centered on security engineering for cloud-based applications. You will implement security controls, automate scanning, and guide teams through the Government of Canada Security Assessment and Authorization processes. Collaboration with development teams to uphold cloud security best practices is critical in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines

• Support cloud security throughout development cycles

• Lead Government of Canada SA&A activities

• Apply security principles to custom software applications

• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediations
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma required

• 5+ years in a software development environment

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and security engineering

• 2+ years implementing automated security in CI/CD

• Knowledge of GC security policies and frameworks
