Cyber Security Consultant II

BELL Business Markets team seeks a Technical Security Solutions Engineer to deploy and configure security solutions in medium to large enterprise environments. The role requires a Secret or TS clearance and residence in Ottawa.

The successful candidate will design, deploy, and integrate security solutions, interacting with customers and internal teams to ensure delivery on time and to specification.

• Install, patch, and organize cable infrastructure (fiber optic & copper cabling)
• Test, deploy, integrate, and remediate security solutions
• Develop architecture solutions, analyze functional and technical specifications, create testing documents, build books, and support deployment activities
• Collaborate with customer technical leads, Bell technical leads, and team members to meet project timelines and expectations
• Provide technical support and maintenance for integrated security solutions
• Take technical training on new technologies and implement them in products
• Deploy technologies including Network Security, Endpoint Security, Email Security, Cloud Security, Firewalls, DLP, IDS/IPS, and others

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of delivering network and/or security projects
• Secret or TS security clearance
• Cisco experience (network, firewall, and/or collaboration preferred)
• Working knowledge of Office 365 and Visio
• Office-based work, 5 days a week
• Eagerness to learn and implement new technologies
• Strong multitasking and project management skills
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to users and management
• Strong troubleshooting and networking foundation
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
• Experience defining requirements and providing security guidance and best practices
• Experience configuring and implementing security solutions

• Knowledge of ITSG-22/ITSG-33, NIST CSF, or ISO 27000
• Programming/scripting experience
• Experience recommending security best practices for design and configuration of security solutions

Location:

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Full-time on-site work required.

Language:
Adequate knowledge of French required for positions in Quebec.
