Web Developer and Designer

Position: Web Developer and Designer Role
Join Algonquin College as a Full Stack Web Developer and Designer. This role emphasizes system administration, Word Press optimization, and business analysis, catering to both students and staff.

Reporting to the Manager of Learner Engagement, you'll support the Digital Marketing Team Lead with the enterprise content management system. With at least five years of CMS platform experience, you will focus on implementing customized solutions, training stakeholders, and documenting system configurations to enrich user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support digital marketing with innovative content management

• Execute configuration and code changes for Word Press

• Create training manuals and refine user workflows

• Implement system upgrades and maintain optimal platform performance

• Advise on new Word Press features and enhancements

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technology or related area

• Five years of hands-on CMS development experience

• Skilled in PHP, JavaScript, and responsive design

• Knowledge of AODA, W3C, and WCAG standards

• Familiar with Google Analytics and SEO practices
