Senior Cloud Networking Engineer; design and implement Azure networking solutions

Our Telecommunications client is seeking a Senior Cloud Networking Engineer (10+ years) to design and implement Azure networking solutions.

Deliver critical cloud networking infrastructure supporting hybrid connectivity, routing, and security for enterprise‑scale environments. This role leads design and deployment of hub and spoke architectures, Forti Gate firewall integration, and Azure‑native security services. Candidates will work within cross‑functional teams to implement Infrastructure as Code and deploy secure networking through Azure Portal, Power Shell, Terraform, and ARM templates. The engagement focuses on optimizing network performance and resilience across cloud frameworks.

• 10+ years as a Cloud Networking Engineer with 2+ years in Azure designing and implementing hybrid connectivity, routing, and security
• Proficiency with Azure hub and spoke VNETs, VPN/Express Route, and private access to Azure services
• 3+ years managing Forti Gate NGFW in Azure including HA designs, traffic segmentation, and policy enforcement
• Hands‑on deployment using Azure Portal, Power Shell, Terraform, Azure CLI, and ARM templates
• Experience with Kubernetes and configuration as code using Git / Git Lab

• Experience with Azure virtual Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience leading cross‑functional cloud solution delivery teams
• Experience in network monitoring, security auditing, and performance optimization

• Design Azure networking solutions leveraging hub and spoke architectures and hybrid connectivity models
• Deploy and manage Forti Gate firewalls and Azure‑native firewall services within virtual environments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for network deployments using Terraform and Git‑based workflows
• Collaborate with architects, developers, Dev Ops, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure cloud networks
• Monitor network performance, audit design integrity, and apply cloud security best practices
• Optimize routing, connectivity, and private access to Azure services in enterprise cloud environments
